An intoxicated man is facing charges after he made threats to harm Canton officers during a Tuesday arrest.
Billy Sanders is charged with making false alarms, trespassing, terroristic threatening, disorderly conduct and aggravated menacing for making statements about killing police officers and performing an attack in the name of ISIS, according to a Canton Police Department news release.
Police were called to a Save-A-Lot grocery store after Sanders, 39, of Canton, was forced to leave the property but later returned and refused to leave.
Sanders was arrested and began making threats toward the officers. He was being held in the Stark County Jail, where he continued to make threats.
Police said Sanders was drunk at the time of the incident.
