A large police presence was in East Canton near South Berger Street and Nassau Street Saturday night for a barricade situation that is now over.
Police said that a man with a gun threatened a woman visiting a neighbor after she said she couldn't give him a ride.
According to the woman, the man opened a second-floor window while holding a rifle and allegedly said he would shoot her if she did not leave.
She fled the scene and called police.
When police arrived, the man refused to open the door.
SWAT was called and police evacuated the area as a precaution.
After several hours, the man came out of the home and was arrested.
