MASSILLON, Ohio — A judge has set a $1 million bond for a Massillon man accused of raping an 11-year-old girl, according to News 5's media partners at the Times Reporter.

Police said Juan Leon-Gomez, 26, was arrested last week after a mother reported that her daughter was missing.

Leon-Gomez's roommate allowed police to search the residence, where they found the girl in an upstairs bedroom closet, according to court documents.

He had his first court appearance on Friday.

According to court documents, Leon-Gomez allegedly raped the 11-year-old multiple times, and she is pregnant.

The magistrate said a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold has been placed on Leon-Gomez, which means if he posts bail he would be remanded to the agency's custody.

Leon-Gomez is facing charges of felony rape and misdemeanor charges of obstructing official business and contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child.

If convicted of felony rape, he could face life in prison with the chance of parole after 10 years and a $20,000 fine.
