Two women arrested for conspiracy to commit murder in Canton

Lilly Brunoni and Nicole Dailey are facing the conspiracy to commit murder charges, after a woman was needed to be revived at a Canton home.

When Stark County Sheriff Georg Maier responded to a well-being check on May 10, he found an unresponsive woman who needed multiple doses of Narcan to be revived from an opioid overdose.

The woman was found at a home on Belden Avenue Southeast and taken to the Aultman's Compassionate Care Center.

Investigators discovered the woman had been released from the same care center only one day earlier. Deputies also learned the victim had been released to Lilly Brunoni, 40, who said she was a healthcare professional.

Brunoni was arrested and charged with one count of conspiracy murder, one count of attempt to commit an offense murder, corrupting another with drugs and practice of medicine or surgery without a license.

Nicole Dailey, 29, was also arrested and charged with one count of conspiracy murder, one count of attempt to commit an offense murder, corrupting another with drugs and theft from an elderly person.
