A 26-year-old man was fatally shot in Akron just after midnight on Sunday.
Davell Brock was sitting inside a vehicle near the intersection of S. Main and Exchange streets when a person fatally shot him in the chest.
He was taken to the Akron General Medical Center emergency room where he died from his injuries around 1:13 a.m.
Akron police are investigating.
