Three Akron carryout stores were charged Friday with receiving stolen property and theft, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.
These are administrative charges, which are separate from criminal charges.
A1 Market at 2351 East Avenue, MJ's Drive-thru at 225 S. Arlington Street and Shop Express at 1565 S. Hawkins Avenue were each charged, authorities said.
The Liquor Control Commission in Columbus will hear charges and determine if the stores will be fined or have their liquor licenses suspended or revoked.
