A six-year-old boy was accidentally shot in the leg by his father on Tuesday afternoon.
Police responded to the 700 block of Alicia Walk for a report of a shooting.
Police said originally the parents denied any knowledge as to how their child was shot but later the boy's 38-year-old father admitted he had a gun and it accidentally went off, grazing his son's leg.
The six-year-old was treated at a local hospital for a minor injury.
A Juvenile Bureau Detective is investigating with the Police Legal Advisor to determine if charges will be filed.
