BARBERTON, Ohio — A 22-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly shooting another man to death late Wednesday morning in Barberton.
Shannon Ingol, of George Street, is currently being held in Barberton City Jail on a murder charge, according to police.
Authorities responded to a home in the 300 block of George Street just after 11 a.m. for a report of a man having been shot.
When police arrived, they found the victim, later identified as Shannon Callahan, 41, also of Barberton, lying in the driveway with a gunshot wound. Callahan was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Ingol was arraigned a short time later and is currently being held in lieu of a $1 million bond.
