The death of Heather Meyers, 41, of Akron, is being investigated by the Summit County Medical Examiner and the Akron Police Department.
Officials said on Monday around 8 a.m., Meyers' body was found floating in Summit Lake.
Akron Fire's Dive Team recovered the body from the water, started resuscitation and took Meyers to Akron General Medical Center where she was pronounced dead at 11:46 a.m.
An autopsy was scheduled for Feb. 23.
No further information was released.
