Five men are in custody in connection with a home invasion that happened at an apartment building in Northfield Center Township on Wednesday.
According to police, 22-year-old Derek L. Manley Jr., 21-year-old Calin C. Arscott, and 19-year-old Willie C. Hill were arrested for aggravated robbery. All three men are from Macedonia, Ohio.
Antoine Peterson Jr., 19, of Northfield Center and a 17-year-old teen from Macedonia were arrested for complicity to aggravated robbery.
Police said the home invasion happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. at a housing complex on Olde Eight Road.
The resident told authorities he heard a knock at his door and three armed men forced their way into his home when he opened the door. A fourth person stayed outside the apartment, the resident said.
Two of the masked men brandished handguns and demanded money from the resident. All four later fled the scene in a car that was waiting outside.
No one was injured in the robbery.
