Three students are facing charges after a gun was found at Norton High School Friday.
Around 11:54 a.m., the Norton Police Department was notified by the school district that a student may be in possession of a firearm.
The principal isolated the students and the gun was found.
The students were taken into custody and removed from the school.
Administrators and police believe this was an isolated incident.
All three students were charged with Illegal conveyance or possession of a deadly weapon in a school safety zone and transported to the Summit County Detention Center.
