A 35-year-old New Franklin man is facing charges after authorities executed a search warrant on his properties and found stolen guns, tools and all-terrain vehicles.
Summit County Sheriff’s Office deputies received a tip on Monday regarding items Timothy Williams was allegedly hiding at a home in New Franklin.
Deputies located three ATVs at the residence. All three had unidentifiable VIN numbers. While searching the home investigators found evidence leading them to a second residence on Buddy Street in the same city.
Authorities found stolen tools, firearms and about $6,000 in cash at the residence.
Police also located several ounces of methamphetamine inside.
A nearby storage unit contained two 4x4 sport utility vehicles, a generator and three golf carts.
Williams was charged with trafficking in drugs and receiving stolen property and transported to Summit County Jail.
