A man wanted on charges of stalking and extortion prompted a SWAT response in Norton Friday morning.
Police received a tip that 39-year-old David Carpenter was in a Brookfield Drive home and was acting irate with a woman.
After officers arrived, they called a SWAT team to assist with the investigation.
SWAT officers surrounded the home and were able to grab the woman as she was letting out her dog.
Authorities ordered the man to come out but he refused.
Around 9:40 a.m. officers used a bullhorn and Carpenter came out.
Police said the U.S. Marshals had been looking for Carpenter and knew he had visited the Norton address a few times over the past several months.
He was arrested and charged with domestic violence and unlawful restraint.
