UPDATE: Springfield Township police report that Gilbert has returned home and is safe.
Springfield Township police are asking for the public's help finding a missing "at risk" person.
Police say Devantay Gilbert, 22, went missing Saturday morning at 8:20 a.m. He was last seen at 3344 Carper Avenue in Akron getting into an older model dark blue minivan with rust on the passenger side. Officers say a man was driving and two women were in the car.
Devantay is developmentally disabled. He is considered at risk due to his status because his whereabouts are unknown.
Devantay is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a white shirt and possibly black or blue shorts.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or contact the Springfield Township police at 330-784-1609.
