NEWCOMERSTOWN, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash, according to News 5's media partners at the Times Reporter.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday on I-77.
According to troopers, a 2005 Ford Escape was driving northbound in the southbound lanes.
The vehicle hit a bridge abutment before striking a guardrail.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
