NEWCOMERSTOWN, Ohio — The Newcomerstown Police Department is mourning the loss of one of their own.
Charles Woodby Sr., died on Wednesday.
He has been with the Newcomerstown Police Department since May 18, 1981, where he started as a janitor.
Woodby was hired as a full time dispatcher in 1983, before becoming head dispatcher in 1990.
