TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio — A person is dead after a crash in Tuscarawas County, according to News 5's media partners at the Times Reporter.
The crash happened early Sunday morning on Franklin Township Road.
A 2017 Polaris RZR was driving westbound on Franklin Township Road when it went off the left side of the road and struck a tree, troopers said. Four people were inside the vehicle.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Two people were flown by medical helicopter to Akron General Hospital. A fourth person was taken by EMS to Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover.
According to troopers, seat belts were not used and alcohol is suspected.
