BAUGHMAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 65-year-old man was killed in Wayne County's Baughman Township on Friday morning while riding his motorcycle when a car failed to yield at a stop sign and pulled out in front of him, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The rider, Arthur J. Lustig, 65, of Dalton, was traveling northbound on Tannerville Road on a 1974 Harley Davidson FX, troopers said.

A 32-year-old man driving a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu stopped at a stop sign but then drove into the path of the motorcycle. Lustig hit the driver's side of the Malibu, authorities said.

Lustig, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Malibu's driver was treated for minor injuries, authorities said.

It's unknown if the Malibu's driver will face any charges.

The matter remains under investigation.
