Many customers that live in the city of North Royalton found themselves without power this morning.
The city posted on Facebook that they have contacted FirstEnergy when customers first lost power around 7:52 Monday morning.
According to FirstEnergy, there were over 8,000 customers without power.
The energy company said an animal caused the outage at a substation in the area. Crews worked quickly to make repairs, and now power has been restored to those who were impacted.
