Lubrizol Corporation says a tank truck delivery made to the Painesville facility on Saturday had temperatures above guidelines.

According to the facility, water is being used to lower the container's temperature.

Lubrizol said there is "no indication of a risk to the surrounding community at this time."

The Lake County Sheriff's Office said there were "never any harmful chemicals released," and if conditions change that could potentially impact the community, an immediate update will be given.

All lanes on state Route 2 West beyond state Route 283, near the facility, reopened Saturday night.

The facility said the nearby roads were closed out of "an abundance of caution."

Earlier in the day, the Painesville Police Department said it responded to the facility for an "emergency situation."

We have sent requests to multiple agencies regarding the matter and are working to learn more.
