The Avon Police Department has issued a traffic alert for a sinkhole on Interstate 90 late Saturday morning.
The department said motorists heading westbound through Avon must use the express lane or take the exit at State Route 611. Road crews are on scene.
It's unclear how long the sinkhole will impact traffic.
Additionally, road construction in the area has closed the right lane at State Route 611; drivers are unable to exit at State Route 254 or State Route 57.
