CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating after a man was fatally shot on the city's east side on Christmas Eve, according to a news release.
Police responded to 1192 East 105th Street to a man who had been shot in the stomach.
The 55-year-old man, later identified by the medical examiner's office as Andre Smith, was taken to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center where he died.
No further information was released at this time.
