A replica of a revolver was found in a man's carry-on baggage at a Nevada airport recently.

After a short investigation, Transportation Security Administration officers determined the item found at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport was created using a 3D printer. The replica even had live ammunition inside, according to KOLO in Reno.

The man was given the option to check it with his carry-on baggage but chose to leave the fake firearm behind, KOLO reported. The passenger was not arrested or cited and was allowed to continue to his flight.

TSA reminds travelers that guns, even replicas, are not allowed in carry-on baggage.
