A pregnant employee was assaulted in a Sunday morning robbery at Lowe's Home Improvement in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was called to the store regarding a robbery that took place around 9 a.m. Police said a man armed with a black semiautomatic handgun took the pregnant woman to the back room where there's an accountant. He then taped both their hands and later robbed the cash register.
Police confirm that a pregnant woman was hit in the stomach during the robbery. She was taken to Sunrise Hospital but is not suffering any injuries.

Police said the suspect is a possible Hispanic male in his 30s, 5'8" and 170 pounds. He was wearing a black cap, sunglasses, gray hoodie and a dark jacket.
