PUT-IN-BAY, Ohio — Put-in-Bay's Mayor Bernard McCann has resigned.
McCann, 83, was indicted by a grand jury in September for two counts of having an unlawful interest in a public contract and three counts of conflict of interest.

He turned in his resignation letter on Feb. 13.
Jessica Cuffman-Dress, the President Pro-Temp, will be taking over as mayor until the end of the year, according to Put-in-Bay officials.
