A woman found passed out in the truck of a car with her two children in the backseat was revived with 16 doses of naloxone over the weekend.
Police say Patricia Bloom, of Farmdale, was found halfway inside her car's trunk in a Taco Bell parking lot. Employees called for help and cared for her children after seeing her like that for about a half hour.
Police found a pencil box next to Bloom with 20 needles, a spoon and a wet cotton ball, all tools typically used to shoot up heroin. They also found a glass pipe, believed to be used to smoke crack.
