Two separate fires erupt in Northeast Ohio, destroying a home and a barn.

Two separate fires have broken out in Northeast Ohio Wednesday afternoon, destroying a house in Lorain and a barn in Rittman.

Lorain Fire Department is currently battling a house fire in the 3700 block of Dallas Avenue.

Lorain Fire Dept still putting water on a destroyed house. Chief says firefighters haven’t been able to get inside yet because it was fully involved when they arrived. No far, no injuries they know about.

According to authorities on scene, the fire department was called for a house fully engulfed at approximately 4:00 p.m.

There are no reports of injuries or a cause of the fire at this time.

Lorain Fire Department is still on scene battling the flames and will be investigate the cause of the fire.

In a separate incident Rittman Fire Department was called to the scene of a barn fire on Acme Road at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Photos sent to News 5 show the fire may have spread to a car near the barn.

There is no report of injures or a cause of the fire at this time.
