DALLAS -- A Dallas woman was arrested after telling police she shot and killed her husband during an argument while he was beating the family cat.
Police got the call Saturday morning at about 6:45. When they arrived, they were met by the suspect, Mary Harrison, 47, who reported she had shot her husband Dexter Harrison, 49.
It reportedly happened during an argument as he was beating the family cat. The man was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Mary Harrison spoke with detectives and admitted to shooting her husband. She was arrested for murder.
