CLEVELAND — The holidays are right around the corner and Giant Eagle is hosting hiring events across Northeast Ohio in an effort to fill 1,300 open positions.
Giant Eagle will conduct socially distant interviews at 24 locations in the Greater Cleveland area from Nov. 9-11 from 1-6 p.m.
On Nov. 12, eight locations in Akron will host in-person hiring events. On Nov. 13, eight Canton locations will welcome candidates for interviews.
Candidates will meet with recruiters and could be offered a job on the spot.
All candidates must wear a mask.
Giant Eagle is offering both permanent full-time and part-time positions. Ideal candidates include anyone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer service environment.
A variety of positions are included across daytime, evening and overnight shifts, depending on candidate availability and interest. Open positions include personal shoppers for curbside pickup, deli and prepared food clerks, cashiers and bakery team members.
