Lorain County Community College hosting virtual manufacturing day Thursday

LORAIN, Ohio — Lorain County Community College is hosting a virtual manufacturing day event on Thursday.

The virtual event will consist of a live panel of representatives from the Lorain County Manufacturing Sector Partnership and its partners. This event’s focus is to inform the public of the job openings with long-term career paths in Lorain County.

The event will also present training and internship opportunities.

Lorain County manufacturers will pay for your training so you can learn hoot be part of the manufacturing workforce and learn skills, including shipping and receiving, inventory, logistics, machine repair and assembly.

The student session begins at 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and the adult session will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
