After a summer of COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020, many of us are looking forward to family vacations this year. If you are an active military member or a veteran, then Sea World has an incredible deal to entice you to visit one of its theme parks.

SeaWorld and its partner theme parks are giving the families of active-duty military members and veterans free admission to spend a day exploring marine life and making wonderful memories together.

From now until June 27, active military personnel and veterans can register at SeaWorld’s Waves of Honor program to receive free admission for themselves and up to three family members at SeaWorld Orlando or one of its partner theme parks for a day.

You must have a military I.D. to participate in this offer, which includes free single-day admission to SeaWorld Orlando for yourself and up to three additional guests. The complimentary tickets must be purchased online, and you have to redeem them at the park by June 27, 2021. There is also an online verification section on the ticket order form to confirm active military or veteran status. May 29 is a blackout date, so you can’t use this deal then.

If you cannot travel by June 27, you’re not totally out of luck. Waves of Honor also offers 50% off single-day tickets for military members and up to three additional guests all year. The tickets must be redeemed at the park for visitation this year by Dec. 19, 2021. For both offers, the military member must be present with their three guests upon arrival at the park. (SeaWorld answers questions about parents serving overseas and other issues military members might run into with this offer in their FAQ.)

This offer can only be redeemed once per calendar year, according to promotional terms and conditions.

Other parks are also participating in Waves of Honor, including:

  • Sea World Orlando
  • Sea World San Antonio
  • Sea World San Diego
  • Busch Gardens Tampa
  • Busch Gardens Williamsburg
  • Sesame Place Langhorne
  • Discovery Cove

Grab the sunscreen, pack the bags and get ready to have an amazing time!
