The NBA has fined Detroit Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy $25,000 for public criticism of officiating.
Van Gundy made his comments in a live television interview during the Pistons' 106-101 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series.
According to ESPN, Van Gundy implied during an in-game interview that James gets calls in his favor.
"A couple calls have upset our guys," Van Gundy told reporter Lisa Salters. "They've got to understand, LeBron's LeBron. They're not going to call offensive fouls on him. He gets to do whatever he wants. They've got to understand that."
