The Cleveland Browns have come to an agreement with Pittsburgh that will bring wide receiver Sammie Coates and a 2019 seventh-round pick to Cleveland in return for a 2018 sixth-round pick.
Back in 2015 Coates was a third-round pick by Pittsburgh, and has appeared in 20 games with five starts. Coates has 22 receptions for 446 yards and two touchdowns and has averaged 25 yards per kickoff return in his career so far.
Coates appeared in 14 games with five starts in 2016. He logged 21 receptions for 435 yards with two touchdowns.
Pittsburgh was going to originally acquire the 2018 sixth-round pick in exchange for DB Justin GIlbert on Sept. 3, 2016.
