Will wide receiver Josh Gordon be on the field with the Cleveland Browns this year?
The NFL could be close to making a decision.
The suspended player met with commissioner Roger Goodell Wednesday to discuss his future with the league, according to our media partners at the Akron Beacon Journal.
Gordon was suspended in February 2015 after he failed a drug test. He can apply for reinstatement on Aug. 1.
Gordon already applied for reinstatement once earlier this year but his request was denied after reports that he failed another drug test. Fox Sports reported in April that the samples tested positive for marijuana and dilute.
