Browns legends send messages of encouragement as team prepares for playoff game against Steelers

CLEVELAND — As the Cleveland Browns prepare to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in their first playoff appearance in 18 years, they got some support from a few familiar faces.

Former Browns wide receiver Andrew Hawkins shared the pride he has for what this Browns team has been able to accomplish this season.

Beloved former kicker Phil Dawson encouraged the team to "overcome all the adversity and every challenge" in their way.

Iconic quarterback Bernie Kosar sent the team a thank you message for everything they've been able to achieve this season while wishing them luck in their playoff game.

Kevin Mack, former explosive running back for the Browns, congratulated the Browns on making it to the playoffs.

Hall of Fame offensive lineman Joe Thomas got excited in his message, saying the Browns aren't stopping "until we win the Super Bowl."

And of course, legendary Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown sent a strong message to the team: "The Browns are back."


The Browns and Steelers kick things off Sunday night at 8:15 p.m.
