The Cleveland Browns have signed undrafted rookie defensive lineman Kenton Adeyemi on Friday.
The 6 foot 3 inch, 279-pound defensive presence originally signed with the Chicago Bears on May 16, but was waived a month later on June 16.
He played college football with the University of Connecticut Huskies, appearing in 30 games with 23 starts. In that time he registered 63 tackles and three sacks. He is a Connecticut native and graduated from Kingwood-Oxford High School.
In addition to signing Adeyemi, the Browns have placed offensive lineman Michael Bowie on the reserve/retired list.
