CLEVELAND — In Oct. 2008, the Cleveland Browns played the way they have in recent years, but the tide started turning when they beat the reigning Super Bowl champions, the New York Giants, on Oct. 13.
Saturday at 8 p.m., News 5 will be replaying that classic game so fans can get revved up for the upcoming season.
In fall of 2008, the Browns starting quarterback Derek Anderson was on the brink of being replaced, but outplayed Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning, securing his position as Cleveland's starter.
After taking down the Giants, fans in the stadium could be heard shouting "overrated" towards the Giants.
