CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Indians have named their starting pitcher for their opening day game against the Minnesota Twins and Corey Kluber has the honor once again.

The Tribe announced the decision on Saturday evening.

This will be Kluber's fifth straight Opening Day assignment, the most for an Indians pitcher since Bob Lemon.

Many fans were uncertain if Kluber would be named the starting pitcher or if Trevor Bauer would snag the role.

Bauer will be the staring pitcher in the Indians' second game against the Twins on March 30, according to Andre Knott, the in-game reporter for the team.

The Indians have not announced the exact order of rotation for opening day, but Kluber will be followed by Bauer, Carlos Carrasco, Mike Clevinger and Shane Bieber.

Opening day is Thursday, March 28 in Minnesota. First pitch is at 4:10 p.m.
