Dwyane Wade has informed the Chicago Bulls he plans to sign a deal with the franchise.
Multiple sports outlets reported the news Wednesday night. Wade has spent 13 historic seasons with the Miami Heat and won and three NBA championships.
Signing a deal with the Chicago Bulls would be a return home for the 34 year old.
The deal would likely be worth 48 million dollars over two years.
Denver met with Wade in New York on earlier Wednesday offering him a two-year 52 million dollar deal.
Thursday marks the end of the league’s moratorium and is the first day free agents can sign contracts.
