CLEVELAND — A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for much of Northeast Ohio until 10 a.m. Thursday. A coating of ice is likely for many untreated roads and sidewalks by Thursday's morning commute.
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY
The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. Wednesday evening to 10 a.m. Thursday.
The following counties are under the advisory:
- Lorain
- Cuyahoga
- Lake
- Geauga
- Ashtabula
- Northern Erie
FORECAST HEADLINES:
- Ice accumulation between 1/10th and 2/10ths of an inch
- Slick roads likely Thursday morning
- Back to snow Thursday night through Friday
- Dry and cold for Saturday
THURSDAY
By mid morning on Thursday, precipitation is expected to change to rain with temperatures warming slightly above freezing.
Anything untreated such as sidewalks and parking lots will be slippery. Be sure to scrape off any excess ice from your car before heading out on the road.

COMMUTE
The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority said due to icy conditions, there will be a 15-20 minute delay on the red line.
