The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh canceled a Tornado Warning for southwestern Columbiana County in east central Ohio and northeastern Carroll County in east central Ohio shortly after it was issued Thursday afternoon.
At 2:51 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Minerva, or 12 miles north of Carrollton, moving east at 25 mph, according to NWS.
At about 3:05 p.m., the NWS canceled this Tornado Warning for Carroll and Columbiana counties.
