CLEVELAND — A Beach Hazards Statement is in effect from 8 p.m. Monday through Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
There’s a high risk of rip currents. Swimmers should not enter the water as currents can carry swimmers away from the shore through a sand bar and along structures extending out into the lake.
Afternoon storms are expected to be strong, with damaging winds and rain possible.
