LORAIN, Ohio — The National Weather Service has issued a Beach Hazards Statement for lakeshore counties across the state until early Saturday morning.
The statement has been issued for the following counties until 2 a.m. Saturday:
- Ashtabula
- Lake
- Cuyahoga
- Lorain
- Erie
- Ottawa
Swimmers are advised not to enter the water due to a high risk of rip currents that could carry people away from the shore.
