A Beach Hazards Statement has been issued for Cuyahoga, Lorain, Erie, Sandusky, Ottawa and Lucas counties until 10 p.m. Saturday.
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, swimmers along the lake shore are at risk of waves and dangerous rip and longshore currents.
Good swimmers are still at risk during a Beach Hazard Statement, the NOAA stated.
