CLEVELAND — Lake effect snow machine up and running to kick off the workweek. Northeast winds coming over the lake still fueling snow. An additional 1-3" of snow possible much of the area by Monday night.

School closings and delayed
As of 6:10 a.m., 96 schools across the area are closed, mainly in Ashland, Erie, Crawford, Stark and Wayne counties. Click here for full list.
I-77 North reopens after crash
All lanes on I-77 north at Portage Street in Canton have been reopened after ODOT crews removed an overhead sign since it was damaged earlier in a crash involving a tractor-trailer Monday morning. Click here.
Winter Weather Advisory
The following counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory, effective until 10 p.m. Sunday:
- Richland
- Holmes
- Wayne
- Huron
- Stark
- Ashland
- Medina
- Erie
- Lorain
- Summit
Tuscarawas and Carroll counties are also under a Winter Weather Advisory, effective from 10 p.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Tuesday. An additional three to five inches of snow is possible.
During the winter weather event, four to seven inches of snowfall is possible.
Most of the snow is expected to end my Tuesday with isolated lake effect snow possible.
