Midday storms could be strong with damaging winds, brief downpours

UPDATE: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Ashland and Richland counties until 1:30 p.m.

warm and humid airmass over the next few days will be the fuel for strong to possible severe storms Tuesday and the rest of the week.

The best chance for severe weather is Wednesday afternoon but we can't rule it out any day.

Damaging wind gusts and heavy rain will be the primary threats, with the strongest storms producing some hail.

It won’t be a washout any day this week but there will be some rain and lightning.
