The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for most of Northeast Ohio and a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for three counties.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for the following counties, effective until 6:15 p.m.:
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Ashtabula County, effective until 6:30 p.m .
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Geauga County, effective until 6:45 p.m., and for Portage County, effective until 7:15 p.m.
A previous warning, in effect until 5:15 p.m., was issued for Erie and Huron counties. Another warning was issued for Lorain County, effective until 5:45 p.m.
The watch, which is in effect until 11 p.m. Sunday, has been issued for the following counties:
Damaging winds with gusts up to 60 mph are possible.
Severe T-Storm Watch has been issued for most of NE Ohio including Cleveland, Akron & Canton until 11 pm. Line of storms moving in from the NW will bring the threat for damaging wind gusts around 60 mph.
