ELYRIA, Ohio — A Flood Warning has been issued for the Black River in Elyria until Tuesday afternoon.
At 2:15 a.m., Tuesday, the stage was about 9.4 feet and 9.5 feet is the flood stage.
The warning is in effect until 1:27 p.m.
Minor flooding is expected as the river will likely rise above the flood stage early Tuesday morning.
The flooding begins south of Elyria in Carlisle Township along Woodside Drive.
