CLEVELAND — A Flood Warning continues for Cuyahoga River until Monday even as heavy rain continues across Northeast Ohio on Labor Day.
The forecast flooding has changed from minor to moderate severity.
As of 12:30 p.m. Monday, the National Weather Service reported the river was 16.4 feet. The flood stage is 17.0 feet.

The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.8 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below the flood stage this evening, according to NWS.
Homes and businesses flooded in Valley View, prompting numerous road closures.
