NWS issues Lake Effect Snow Warning for Lake and Geauga counties

The National Weather Service has issued a Lake Effect Snow Warning for two counties in Northeast Ohio Sunday night.

Lake County and Geauga County are under a Lake Effect Snow Warning effective from 5 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday morning.

Additional snow accumulations of two to four inches are expected in Lake and Geauga counties.

The National Weather Service previously issued a Wind Advisory and a Winter Weather Advisory for several counties in Northeast Ohio that continue through the weekend.

The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 11 p.m. Saturday night to 4 a.m. Monday for the following counties:

  • Ashtabula
  • Geauga
  • Lake
  • Cuyahoga
